●浅草神社 Asakusa Shrine
※まずは、浅草神社とゆかりの深い浅草寺　(Sensoji) の起源／由来についてごく簡単に説明すると、西暦628年 (推古天皇36年)に、二人の漁夫の兄弟 (★) が隅田川で網に掛かった仏像を主人の土師真中知（はじのまなかち）に見せたところ、この仏像が観音像であることが分かり、真中知命（まなかち）は家に持ち帰って供養した。その後、出家し、自宅を寺に改めて供養をつづけた。これが浅草寺の始まりである。
浅草寺の向かって右側には浅草神社 (三社様) があるが、この神社には前記二人の漁夫と真中知の三人が祭られている。三社祭はこの神社の祭りで、日本三大祭りの一つに数えられていて、毎年五月の中旬に盛大に行われている。

※浅草寺の説明としてさらに付け加えるならば、天正18年（1590年）、江戸に入府した徳川家康は浅草寺を祈願所と定め、寺領五百石を与えた。浅草寺の伽藍は中世以前にもたびたび焼失し、近世に入ってからは寛永8年（1631年）、同19年（1642年）に相次いで焼失したが、3代将軍徳川家光の援助により、慶安元年（1648年）に五重塔、同2年（1649年）に本堂が再建された。このように徳川将軍家に重んじられた浅草寺は観音霊場として多くの参詣者を集めた。
※社殿は浅草寺の本堂の東側にある。現存の社殿は徳川家光の寄進で慶安2年（1649年）に完成したもので、昭和26年（1951年）に拝殿・幣殿・本殿が国の重要文化財に指定された。

※浅草寺と浅草神社の違いを知るためには、まず浅草寺の歴史を知る必要があります。浅草寺は、西暦628年に隅田川で仏像が見つかったことをきっかけに創立されました。
仏像を見つけたのは漁師の兄弟だったのですが、浅草神社ではこの2人の兄弟を神さまとして祀っているのです。また、仏像が見つかった当時、それを「観音菩薩」であると見抜いた男がいます。土師真中知（はじのあたいなかとも）という現在でいうところ知識人で、彼もまた浅草神社の神として祀られています。
つまり浅草神社には合わせて3人の神が祀られているわけです。このため浅草神社のことを「三社様」とも呼び、浅草神社のお祭りを「三社祭」と呼びます。〔MATCHA〕

※ A legend says that a thousand three hundred years ago Two fishermen brothers (Hamanari, Takenari, HINOKUMA) found a Kannon (Godess of Mercy) statuette caught in a fishing-net in the Sumida River on March 18 (May 18 by the solar calendar) .
A wealthy landlord Hajinomatsuchi heard about the discovery and approached the brothers to whom he delivered an impassioned sermon about the buddha. Greatly impressed, Hamanari and Takenari converted to the buddhist faith. The Kannon statue was consecrated in a small temple by the landlord and the brother who thereafter devoted their lives to preaching the way of Buddhism. The temple,Sensouji grew and prospered together with the surronding district of Asakusa. Hajinomatsuti, Hamanari, and Takenari are recegnized as the founders of Asakusa and the revered as deities. During the Kamakura period, about 800years ago, afterwards built a shrine and devoted it to Asakusa. The townsfolk of Asakusa beganholding a festival to honor these three devoted men. This is believed to be the origin of the Asakusa shrine.〔浅草神社〕

※ La historia de este templo se remonta al año 628, cuando los hermanos Hinokuma encontraron en el río Sumida una estatua de la diosa Kannon, diosa de la piedad en el panteón budista. Los hermanos llevaron la estatua a la casa del jefe de la aldea y le explicaron lo que había sucedido.
Hajino Nakamoto, en ese entonces gobernador de lo que hoy conocemos como Asakusa, se dio cuenta que esta estatua era sagrada y había sido enviada por los dioses para proteger a la aldea. Por lo tanto, el gobernador remodeló su propia casa y en el centro de la aldea se fundó el templo de kannon, esta fue la base del hoy “Sensoji”, convirtiéndose en el templo más antiguo de Tokio.

■ 三社の由来〔日めくりオトナ稼業〕
三社祭の三社の由来は推古天皇の時代にさかのぼります。
飛鳥時代、推古天皇36年（628年）3月18日の早朝、
現在の隅田川下流にあたる江戸浦で漁をしていた二人の兄弟、
檜前浜成・竹成（ひのくま・はまなり、たけなり）が、
網にかかった観音像を見つけます。
不思議に思った兄弟が、この観音像を地元の識者である土師真中知（はじのあたい・なかとも）に見てもらったところ、
観音像は『聖観世音菩薩像』であることが判りました。

●雷門
※雷門は浅草寺の山門であり、正式名称は「風雷神門 <ふうらいじんもん>」という。その名前は朱塗りの門の左右に立つ2体の彫像、雷神と風神に由来するもので、浅草寺を洪水や火災から守ります。門の中央には「雷門」の漢字が刻まれた巨大な赤提灯 (高さ3.9メートル、幅3.3メートル、重量はおよそ700キログラム)が吊り下げられており、浅草のランドマークとなっている。浅草のシンボル・雷門の前は、記念写真におさまる国内外の人びとでいつも賑わっている。

The Kaminarimon Gate
The Kaminarimon or Thunder Gate serves as the entrance to the Sensoji Temple precinct and is the outer gate of the temple. It was originally built in 942 by military commander Taira no Kinmasa. The gate has two protector deities, Fujin, the god of wind is on the right, and Raijin, the god of thunder is on the left. The structure features a massive red and black paper lantern, dramatically painted to suggest thunderclouds and lightening and hence the name. The traditional lantern called chochin in Japanese is 3.9 meters high, 3.3 meters in diameter and 700 kg in weight. The original lantern burned down along with the Kaminarimon in the late Edo Period. It was rebuilt in 1960 and is renewed every decade with the current lantern dating from November 2013.　〔Japan Travel Advice／Sensoji Temple〕

※ According to legend, brothers Hinokuma Hamanari and Hinokuma Takenari were fishing in the Miyatogawa River (now known as the Sumidagawa River) when they pulled up a statue of Kannon, the Buddhist goddess of mercy. A wealthy landlord named Hajinomatsuchi enshrined the statue in his home, laying the foundation for Sensoji Temple. Later, a shrine was erected for the souls of the three men. Although the festival seems to date from older times, the presentday from of the festival was established in the Edo period (1603-1868). Temple Senso-ji
C’est le plus ancien et le plus celebre temple a Tokyo et egalement le symbole du quartier d’Asakusa.
Le premier edifice a ete fonde en 628 par 2 pecheurs du quartier qui auraient trouve dans leur filet une petite statue en or de Kannon （観音）jetee dans la riviere de Sumida. Aujourd’hui, cette statue n’est pas visible mais vous pouvez entrer dans le temple principal et y faire la priere.

Cuore del quartiere di Asakusa e il famoso Tempio Sensoji, preceduto dalla millenaria porta Kaminarimon, simbolo di questo luogo. Rappresenta il tempio piu importante e antico della citta, le cui origini risalgono al lontano 628 quando, secondo una leggenda, nel piccolo villaggio di Asakusa, due fratelli trovarono una statua della divinita Kannon mentre stavano pescando nel fiume Sumida. Il capo del villaggio decise di costruire un tempio per custodire e venerare la statua e fu cosi che nacque il tempio Senso-ji. Oggi gli edifici del tempio sono una ricostruzione risalente al dopoguerra, ma Senso-ji conserva le sue atmosfere autentiche e resta il principale centro di preghiera e della vita sociale del quartiere con numerosi festival che si svolgono qui durante l’anno e la strada dello shopping Nakamise Dori che lo precede.〔MARCOTOGNI.IT〕
